Penelope is seriously so stinking cute! She reminds me of a little cabbage patch doll! I just wish she liked smashing the cake a little more. It is inevitable that during a smash cake session, the child will cry and Penelope was no different. Although, it sure made for some cute images. Before Penelope got messy, I followed Rowe family around the park for a little family session. Here are some of my favorites from our session…..

Bekah and Derrick are so much fun! You know you are with the right person when you can be just be your silly self. During our session, which started out at Sunset Cliffs and concluded at Balboa Park (which is where Derrick purposed), they were bouncing around, doing Kung Fu moves and Bekah, being the dancer she is, was dancing around. I loved it! I cant wait to shoot there wedding in December!
I have been working hard on getting all of my photos edited before we leave for the South Pacific. For now, here are a few sessions i am working on…

A few weekends ago I shot Kyle and Sam’s wedding at The Middle Ranch Lodge in the San Fernando Valley. It was hot, but we got some great shots.
Kyle and Sam, thank you so much for having me apart of your special day, I am truly honored. And Sam, aren’t you glad we were able to start on time and still get some awesome shots!?

Born on February 14, 2010, CJ was a great little Valentines present for Shauna and Chris. Shauna, Chris and Chris Jr live on the East Coast and are in town for a family wedding that I am photographing tomorrow. We thought, what better time then now to get some photos of CJ before he gets to big. These are my favorite from the session…..

I was excited when Bree, an old friend from college, emailed me saying she would be in town and would love for me to take some family photos. I have not seen Bree in about six years and it is crazy how life changes. She now has two men in her life; her husband Heath and their son Hunter. They are a super cute family and I wish them the best in Louisiana, I just hope they move back to San Diego soon!
I met Ricky and Tyne in our North Coast young married growth group about two years ago! The four of us hit it off really quick and Tyne and I became inseparable. I love these two so much. They are such awesome, Godly people! Unfortunately, life got really busy and the time we were able to hang out with them became less and less. I think Tyne and I will always be friends. She is the kind of person that you can pick up right you left off, as if no time has even passed. Christian and I actually hung out with them the day they found out about Emmy and I couldn’t have been more excited for them. Tyne was so excited, that she went out and bought bedding for a boy and bedding for a girl, not know what they were having. I cannot believe they have baby Emmy now. She is just the cutest thing…. As Tyne would say she is “Presh” as in precious! And she is!!!
